A small, square, copper alloy "annulet" bullion weight of 2.62g (0.092oz, 40.4gn). Both sides are stamped with a small letter T and two annulets at the corners of the right-hand side to indicate a value of 2 pennyweight.


The pennyweight (24gn or 1/20 of a Troy oz) ceased to be a legal unit in 1853, however the weights continued in usage until the 20th century (Biggs, 1992).
