A small runnel or solidified spillage of lead, with a yellowish coating or patina on one side, possibly with fine sand impressions from a casting bed, and with cooling lines on the other. The use of a sand bed may hint at professional rather than casual lead-working. Suggested date: Unknown, Roman to Post-Medieval, 43-1800
