A Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant, probably dating to AD 1200-1400. The pendant is sexfoil in plan, consisting of six sub-circular lobes projecting from the interstices of a six-pointed star. This star is inlaid with red enamel, with a reserved sexfoil at its centre. From the apex of one lobe expands a transverse suspension loop.
The pendant is 24.3mm wide, 37.6mm long, and weighs 7.8g.
