A cast lead-alloy cannonball, possibly dating from the Late Medieval period. The surface of the spherical object is scratched and corroded. It measures 46.2mm in diameter and weighs 538.4g.
This projectile has been identified as possibly originating from the Battle of Barnet, which is know to have taken place in the locality on 14th April, 1471. For a similar object with the same suggested origin, see BH-3C0750.
