A copper-alloy Medieval mount, dating to AD 1270-1450. It consists of an oval bar mount with two terminal lobes, which are pierced and house a copper-alloy rivet. The central oval section is convex on the front face, bearing a series of transverse parallel grooves and ridges; its back face is concave and undecorated.
