Ceramic possible floor tile fragment. A fragment of reduced fabric with an inner oxidised margin and a mottled green glaze on its upper surface, probably from a thin flat floor tile. Broken on all edges. The underside bears impressions from the laying of the green or unfired tile on a flat sanded surface. Abraded. The modest thickness might also permit this to have come from a glazed ridge tile or roof furniture. Suggested date: Medieval, 1150-1450
