An Early Medieval copper alloy complete strap end dating to the period AD 750 - 900. It has two rivet holes at the widest section. The top bears a narrow oblong geometric panel consisting of diagonally crossed lines, which bear traces of gilding. On each side of the central panel is a border of small square "dots" each within two incised lines. At the narrow end are two lines of two incised arcs side by side and placed one above the other. The tip has been narrowed and shaped into a triangular section in a stylised zoomorphic terminal.
