A complete, very worn, copper-alloy sestertius of Trajan (AD 98-117), probably dating to the period AD 103-111 (Reece Period 5). Probably a S P Q R [OPTIMO PRINCIPI] reverse depicting Roma helmeted and in military dress seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and vertical spear, helmet under right foot, head in helmet under left, by cuirass one round and two oblong shields.
