One body sherd of later Medieval closed vessel, possibly a jug or jar as the piece appears to be narrowing or expanding on a curve. The high fired fabric is a dark buff with a bright orange outer surface. It has abundent medium to coarse sand temper making up c. 30% of the fabric including occasional larger pieces up to 1mm. It probably dates to c. AD 1300-1600. Thre breaks are relatively fresh and it weighs 9.09g.
