A copper alloy medieval two piece sheet metal strap end dating to c. AD 1230 - 1260. The strap end is a long rectangular shape, the terminal end narrows to a rounded triangular point. There is a circular rivet at the terminal end and the split end, these are seperate copper alloy rivets. The face of the strap end is decorated with a double border of repeated impressed circles running along the edge of the strap end. The reverse is undecorated. The strap end has a dark green patina with patches of light green. It measures 33.4mm in length, 11.4mm in width, 4.9mm in maximum thickness and weighs 4.91g.

A similar strap end can be seen in Egan and Pritchard 1991, page 137 number 630.
