6 undated, 1 Palaeolithic, 9 Mesolithic and 9 Neolithic flint implements.

Top to bottom, left to right:

A1 Mesolithic flint blade. Made on flint, light grey opaque patina with some iron staining. Tertiary blade. Plain butt, hard-hammer struck. Left lateral edge retouched on ventral face (short, abrupt, scaler) and right edge notched. Central ridge created by orthogonal removal from the left. Early Mesolithic to Late Neolithic -9000 to -2200. SK7692 2564

A2 Mesolithic flint blade. Made on flint, mid-caramel-brown opaque patina. Tertiary blade, triangular cross-section. Central ridge appears crested on one side. Left lateral edge on ventral face is slightly retouched (short, semi-abrupt, scaler). Late Upper Palaeolithic to Late Mesolithic -13000 to -4000. SK7705 2567

A3 Neolithic flint blade. Made on light brown, semi-translucent flint that is turning grey and opaque through patination. Secondary blade, prepared butt. Unidirectional scars on dorsal with a hint of a bi-directional removal on the distal end. Early to Late Neolithic -4000 to -2200. SK7684 2467

A4 Neolithic flint blade. Made on flint, light grey opaque patina. Tertiary piece, orthogonal technology. Early to Late Neolithic -4000 to -2200. SK7702 2557

A5 Late Upper Palaeolithic flint dihedral burin. Made on flint, light blue opaque patina. Secondary piece, unidirectional blade technology. Burin removal on both edges. Length 51mm Width 13mm Thickness 11mm Weight 8.7g Late Upper Palaeolithic to Late Mesolithic -13000 to -4000. SK728 246

B1 Mesolithic flint knife. Made on flint, flint originally mid-brown semi-translucent, now turning opaque and dark bluish grey through patination. Mesolithic blade with opposed platform technology, retouched along left lateral edge (short, semi-abrupt, sub-parallel). Length 50mm. Width 21mm. Thickness 5mm. Weight 6.2g. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7672 2548

B2 Neolithic flint point. Made on flint, mid-brownish-grey opaque patina. Tertiary piece. Dorsal face possesses radial scars. Piece has been crudely flaked to produce an oblique-like point. Length 48mm. Width 26mm. Thickness 7mm. Weight 6.5g. Early to Late Neolithic -4000 to -2200. SK7706 2570

B3 Mesolithic flint point. Made on flint, mid-brown opaque patina. Tertiary piece, unidirectional blade scars on dorsal. Piece has been crudely flaked to produce an oblique point with some alternating retouch on right lateral edge (short, abrupt). Length 42mm. Width 18mm. Thickness 9mm. Weight 6.3g. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7700 2551

B4 Neolithic flint tanged point. Made on flint, now dark grey and almost opaque. Secondary piece, flaked to produce a tang. Tip has minor modification and broken, possibly impact damage. Made on a siret flake. Length 41mm. Width 14mm. Thickness 9mm. Weight 4g. Late Upper Palaeolithic to Late Neolithic -13000 to -2200. SK7627 2527

B5 Undated flint flake. Made on flint, light caramel-brownish grey opaque patina. Plunging and broken flake. SK7696 2525

C1 Undated flint flake. Made on flint, originally mid-brown semi-translucent, now turning opaque and dark bluish-grey through patination. Very rolled. Plain butt, hard-hammer struck, could be old. SK7693 2561

C2 Mesolithic flint core fragment. Made on flint, mid-grey opaque patina. Fragment of a unidirectional bladelet core. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7620 2779

C3 Neolithic flint point. Made on flint, dark grey opaque patina. Secondary flake, orthogonal scars on dorsal. Tip finely worked (short, abrupt) to create crude point-like object. Early Mesolithic to Late Neolithic -9000 to -2200. SK7620 2779

C4 Neolithic flint core fragment. Made on flint, mid-brownish-grey opaque patina. Fragment of the platform from a unidirectional core. Early to Late Neolithic -4000 to -2200. SK7683 2501

C5 Mesolithic flint core fragment. Made on flint, mid-grey opaque patina. Fragment of a unidirectional bladelet core. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7621 2781

D1 Undated flint flake. Made on flint, dark grey semi-translucent. Secondary flake, single unidirectional flake scar on dorsal. SK7689 2553

D2 Mesolithic flint blade. Made on flint, dark bluish-grey semi-translucent. Tertiary blade from opposed platform core. Distal end is part of the opposed platform. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7656 2542

D3 Undated flint flake. Made on flint, dark grey semi-translucent. Secondary flake, single unidirectional flake scar on dorsal, hard-hammer struck. SK733 247

D4 Mesolithic flint core fragment. Made on flint, light bluish-grey opaque patina. Fragment of a unidirectional bladelet core. Early to Late Mesolithic -9000 to -4000. SK7688 2507

D5 Neolithic flint piercer. Made on a flint core fragment. Core fragment is older than the retouch which now has a mid-grey opaque patina. Retouched (short, abrupt, scaler) to form sharp piercing point. Early Mesolithic to Late Neolithic -9000 to -2200. SK7331 2387
