A cast copper alloy vessel leg / pot-leg, probably from a tripod cooking vessel, possibly of medieval date (1000-1500). The object consists of an almost complete pot leg with an outer rounded surface and a flat inner surface. There is no swelling at the foot, however the leg processes in a narrowing fashion. The leg is sub-triangular and unornamented. It is heavily corroded with a fine granular surface.
The object has a length of 45.87mm, a width varying from 30.71mm to 22.58, a thickness of 8.99mm, it weighs 38.2 grams.
