A complete copper-alloy bar mount of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1400. The mount comprises a central ovate lobe with two smaller integral circular terminal lobes extending from short rectangular shafts to either end. Both terminals display worn rivets to the reverse. The mount has a D-shaped profile being flat to the reverse and domed to the front.

The metal has a dark green/brown patina and is worn. The mount is 18.1mm long, 10.2mm wide, 4.9mm thick and weighs 1.8g.

Similar mounts are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991) p.214, fig.134 and date from AD 1250 - 1400.
