Roman silver denarius of Vitellius (AD 69), Roman emperor from 1st January AD 69 until his assassination on 20th December AD 69, Reece period 3, Group III, XV VIR SACR FAC reverse type depicting a tripod with a raven below and a dolphin above (missing). Nearly half of the coin in missing including most of the legends on the obverse and reverse, but it is just possible to see the letters M IM from the legend A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P. It probably commemorates Vitellius' election to the college of senior priests.
A similar coin is illustrated on the database in NLM-3F2F40, which also appears in Moorhead (2013), on p.66, fig.31 and in BMC Vol.I, p.373, nos.39-40.
