Copper alloy plano-convex Post-Medieval button with integral off-centre drilled shank. The circular solid convex head of the button has a flanged border with a concentric raised moulded eight pointed wavy-arm star or sunray design. Circa 16th century. Cf ESS-6ED8CC on this database.
