Extending out from the one side of the cover-plate the stirrup arm (broken into two parts) curves inwards. The stirrup arm is D-shaped in cross section and widens and flattens where it terminates in an ancient break.

The object has a smooth dark brown patina on each face of the extending plate. The arm of the stirrup is dark green in colour. The opposite end of the arm terminates with a rounded projection.
