A complete and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307), minted at London. Class 3g2-3g3 or class 4a1-4a2, 1280-1283 (North 1991: 29, refs: 1022-1023).
Obverse: +ED[WR AN]GL DNS hY[B]; Crowned bust facing with wedged drapery.
Reverse: CIVI/[T]AS/[L]ON/DON; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
Diameter: 18.2mm. Weight: 1.05g. DA=12:6.
