A conical coper-alloy Roman object, most likely a plumb bob. It is in mostly complete condition but is missing its lug or loop for suspension. It finds parallels in a plumb bob weight from South Shields (Allason-Jones and Miket, 1984: no. 3.477) as well as a mount recorded through the PAS (LIN-E94F54).
