An undatable lead weight, an isoceles triangle in shape with a rectangular cross-section (11.6mm thick) and a projecting loop for suspension at the apex. The loop is oval in shape and narrower (5.6mm) than the body of the weight. It has a central oval piercing 5.2mm wide and 3.4mm tall. The short edge opposite the projection is convex and has a longitudinal groove in the centre of its underside.
The weight measures 61.5mm in length, 36.6mm in max.width (13.7mm min.width, just below the loop), 11.6mm in max.width and weighs 136g (to the nearest 2g). It probably dates from the medieval to post-medieval period, although any date between the Roman and post-medieval period is possible (AD 43-1800).
