Early Bronze Age copper alloy flat axehead. The axe originally had a narrow butt, now absent, that gradually expands in width towards the cutting edge which is convex in plan. The butt is rectangular in cross section and the blade has a flattened pointed oval cross section. There are no indications or remnants of any flanges. It shares similarities with Willerby class 4 axes but is not identical. Probably dates to between c2100 and c1700 BC.
The length is 63mm, width 45mm, thickness 12mm, and weight 108.35g.
