A cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type Roman brooch with semi-cylindrical wings, one of which has been lost. The bow has a circular cross section with moulded side (shoulder) panels and a spine at the head. The catchplate has mostly been lost and the spring and pin are missing. Circa mid first century AD.
