An incomplete copper alloy sheet plate from a Post-Medieval strap clasp or book fitting, probably dating to circa AD 1400-1600. The piece is a rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet with two rivet holes at the corners of one end. The other end has a short protrusion, which would have been part of the clasp element. Both sides are plain.
