Obverse description: Crowned king with septre facing. The crown is formed from a band of pearls with a central cross. The curls each have single pellets within them. The eyes are oval pellets, the strokes forming the beard are set vertically and the central pellet is oval. The R in the legend is formed with a rounded top. The X is formed with flat terminals similar to a cross pattee. It is smaller than the other letters

Reverse description: Short voided cross contained within a circle. In each divided quarter is a small saltire with pellet terminals. Pellet stops separate the inscription
