Middle Saxon to Late Saxon sheet copper alloy circular hooked tag with two attachment holes, Read 2008 early medieval single sharp-hooked clasp Class A, Type 2. Within an engraved border line there is a large central punched ring-and-dot which has pierced the sheet. Of four smaller ring-and-dots two are placed partly astride the border line. Length 14.5mm. Width 11mm. Early 8th - 11th century.
