A crudely cast lead object, possibly a weight, of Medieval or Post Medieval date. The object is broadly oval disc-shaped with one slightly convex, raised, uneven surface that appears to be decorated with shallowly incised grooves forming a cross. The other surface is concave and has a slightly raised edge. There may be elements of moulded decoration on the surface but this is very worn. The object measures 23.8mm in length, 20.5mm in width, is a maximum of 4.8mm thick and weighs 15.23 grams.
