Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy hooked sword belt mount with two iron-filled rivet holes. The tip of the hook is missing. An early 17th-century type (Scott, I. in Biddle et al. 2001, 205, fig. 5.6. no. 159). As Margeson 1993, nos. 257-8 and de Reuck 1991, 41, right-hand row, seventh and eight from top. Extant length / height 27.5mm. Width 12mm. c.1600 - c.1650.
