Copper alloy button. Probably die-stamped concavo-convex discoid possible uniform button with a separate drawn wire loop. The front bears a Crown imperial or cushion crown against a stippled ground within a broad plain border. The edge of the border is rolled on its reverse. This button may imitate the characteristics of a uniform button rather than actually being from an official or institutional uniform. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1830-1900
