Lead weight. Cast flat discoid weight with a central pit of diameter 4mm on one side and a rounded outer edge, possibly worn from a bevelled form. Patinated. The central pit might hint at finishing of the object on a lathe. This possibly represented two [underweight] averdepois ounces. Weights of around this value are also reported from the medieval waterfront in London. Suggested date: 1500-1700
