An incomplete copper-alloy unidentified object. This object consists of a roughly circular flat terminal with a shaft projecting from the centre of one edge of this. It measures 40mm in surviving length and c17mm in diameter across its terminal end and c5mm in width across the shaft. The terminal has a central circular hole through and surrounding which there is a mass of corroded iron, especially on one face. This is presumably the remains of an iron rivet/shaft of some sort. The incomplete integral shaft has a flat back face and a slightly rounded front face there are also possible transverse notches where it projects from the terminal end but due to wear it is difficult to be sure whether these are due to wear or are original. No parallel could be found for this object and both its date and function are unknown.
