A complete copper alloy trade weight of Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD).
The weight is circular in plan. The obverse has a raised ring around the edge as a border. One stamp is visible, A Crowned I (from either James I (1603 to 1625) or James II (1685 to 1688). The base of the weight is undecorated.
It has a diameter of 29.0 mm and is 3.7 mm thick. It weighs 10.3 g (0.37 oz).
