A silver Medieval cut half penny of Henry III (1216-1272), dating to AD 1248, long voided cross, possibly class 2b, Ion moneyer, mint of Bury St Edmunds.
Cut is even across the lines of the long cross and divides the obverse in half, down the centre of the bust.
North (1980:182) Class 2 (no. 985). Minted at Bury St Edmunds.
Measurements: 17.35mm long, 9.87mm wide, 0.9mm thick and 0.69g in weight.
