Dark grey green flint with cortex possible scraper. A sub-triangular flake with broad flakes trimmed by hard hammer strike from its dorsal side, and with a hollowed ventral surface. A long narrow flake has been trimmed by further retouch executed from the ventral aspect. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect has trimmed a small amount of cortex from a curving edge. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC

The material resembles a sample of both worked and unworked flint collected by the late Hugh Winfield from intertidal parts of the North Sea coast in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area
