A cast lead standing weight of pyramid shape, probably dating from the medieval or post medieval periods, about AD 1200 - 1800. The object has a height of 36.42mm, and basal dimensions of 29.61mm by 30.37mm. It weighs 119.61g. This mass corresponds closely to four ounces (4 oz.) under the later medieval mercantile or Tower systems (Egan, 2010, p. 302). The weight has a mottled light brown and grey patina.
