Incomplete Roman copper alloy nail-cleaner with a moulded neck and shouldered blade. The suspension loop, set in the same plane as the blade, is broken but complete. The 17mm-long neck consists of baluster mouldings and grooves, and the slender leaf-shaped blade is bent and has lost its terminal. Eckardt, H. and Crummy, N. 2008, 120, fig. 59 and Crummy 1983, Type 2a. Extant length c.46mm. Width of blade 6mm. Mid 1st - 2nd century.
