Lead and iron weight of late medieval or post-medieval date (c. AD 1400 - 1600). The weight was probably formed from pouring molten lead into a thimble; consequently, it is cylindrical in form, with a rounded, hachured end. Two iron stubs protrude from the top: these are the remains of a suspension loop. The object has a white patina with red patches from iron corrosion. The object is 18.61mm in length and 14.88mm in diameter. It weighs 30.32g.
