An almost complete Medieval copper-alloy English jetton (c. 1280-c. 1343). Mitchiner 1988: 109, ref: 183; Berry Type 5c.
Obverse: Two lions passant facing left, one above the other within a beaded circle, border of pellets.
Reverse: Cross fleury with pellets in each angle within a beaded circle, border of pellets.
Diameter: 19.3mm. Weight: 1.18g.
The obverse has a central circular punch mark which has not penetrated through and is double-struck.
