An fragment from the rim of a Medieval (AD 1300-1500) cast copper alloy vessel.
Description: The fragment in profile has a shallow conave curve, the edges are worn at the historic breaks, there is an historic split running parallel to the rim. The outer surface is decorated with raised parallel ridges. There is a triangular spike (height: 22.69mm, width: 12.02-7.25mm, thickness: 8.23mm), protruding from the edge of the rim in line with the body of the fragment this has four flat sides.
