A complete stone axe of Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2300 BC. Ground and polished stone axe, oval in section and tapering sharply from the curved cutting edge to the rounded butt end. It is abraded, particularly along the longitudinal edges. The stone is pale green/grey in colour. Length: 74.7mm, width: 28.6mm, thickness: 19.6mm, weight: 60.5g
