An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle, dating to AD 1250-1450. It has a D-shaped frame with k-bevelled edges and transverse notch for the pin-rest. The pin bar is narrowed and has a sub-rectangular cross-section; it has patches of iron corrosion products suggesting the presence of an iron pin, now missing.
