Corroded and incomplete medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant, shield-shaped (edges damaged), very worn suspension-loop. The badly corroded face has traces of an elaborate and uncertain curved figure, reminiscent of a bishop's crook or staff, probably originally reserved on an enamelled field, traces of red, blue and white enamel survive. and traces of gilding survive. Extant height 45.5mm. Extant width 20mm. Late 13th-14th century.
