A near comlete Post-Medieval silver halfgroat of Elizabeth I, dating to AD 1583-1603. Obverse- Crowned bust left with two pellets behind and legend E D G ROSE SINE SPINA. Reverse - square shield on cross fourchee and legend CIVITAS LONDON. Initial mark bell. Reference: North 1975 (Vl 2), no. 2016.
