A late medieval penny of Edward IV (1st reign, 1461-70), light coinage, mint of York (Episcopal) under Archbishop George Neville, probably type X 1 with small lis initial mark and G and key beside bust, dating to 1464-70. The coin is pierced at the tip of the right fleur, from the reverse to the obverse, with a much smaller piercing just below (arranged to the reverse between a cluster of three pellets).
