A post medieval copper alloy blunt hooked clasp of Read Class G, Type 1, comprising two sub-rectangular plates, 34.1mm in length which are held together by a pair of in-situ rivets, one at either end. Towards the narrower end of the plates are a pair of holes. The plates are abraded and apparently undecorated; the hook attachment has been lost from the narrower end of the clasp.
