Obverse: crowned bust (worn away, deliberately defaced and scratched). ELIZABETH.D.GA_.FR'ET.HI.REGINA
Reverse: Long cross fourchee dividing the legend, over square heraldic shield, headed 1561 POSUI.DEU.ADIUTOREM. MEU
Legend differs from North 1997, in FR' (cf North: FRA) and HI (cf North HIB). Obverse bust is worn away but reverse is much less worn, so bust has been deliberately defaced and scratched.
