Flint with cortex spot probable scraper. An irregular flake with broad and narrow flakes trimmed from its dorsal side and with a bulb on its undulating ventral surface. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect forms a hollow on one long edge - the smaller of two on the same side; both hollows might have been used to trim shafts. A dense creamy patina suggests the object has endured long exposure to a calcareous environment after its deposition. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC
