A copper farthing of Charles I, AD 1625 - 1649. Farthing Licence issued under Royal Licence AD 1625 - 1644. Obverse shows a Crown with two crossed Sceptres within the remains of a beaded part circle. Obverse legend reads CARO. D.G. MAG. BR[IT]. The reverse shows signs of wear and has a crowned Irish Harp design ,within a beaded part circle. Reverse legend reads FRA. [ET]. [H]IB. R[EX].

Dimensions: Diameter 16.0 mm, thickness 0.23 mm, weight 0.4 gm.
