One half of a Medieval silver coin, long cross penny probably of Edward III (AD1327-1377) chipped and heavily worn, Perhaps 3rd, Florin issue (1344-1351). Inscriptions lost. Obverse: Bust, facing bifoliate crown, Reverse: long cross, This coin has been broken; it is not a cut halfpenny. Diameter 16.0mm, Mass, including sleeve, 2.24g.

Notes:

This coin was sealed in a cardboard envelope making photography difficult.
