Medieval silver coin, cut halfpenny of John (AD1199-1216) made from a short cross penny struck by Hue of Canterbury, Class 5b2, (1205-1207) North 970. Obverse: Crowned bust facing, [H]ENRICVS[ ]. Reverse: Short cross, HIV[ ]NTO. Diameter 17.7mm, Mass, including sleeve, 2.52g


This coin was sealed in a cardboard envelope making photography difficult.
