Silver Roman denarius of Augustus, dating to 2 BC - AD 4. Mint of Lugdunum. Obverse of right-facing laureate head: CAESAR AVGVSTVS [DIVI F PATER PATRIAE]. Reverse of Gaius and Lucius Caesar standing, each togate, resting hand on shield and spear, simpulum, right and lituus, left: C L CAESARES AVGVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC IVVENT.
