Copper alloy scabbard chape. A triangular or conical sheet metal chape, rounded on its display face but flattened on the back, where an overlapping seam appears; the terminal is crimped around three short slashes. A drilled hole of diameter 1.6mm is provided to assure fixing to the leather of a scabbard. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650
